Our trip is now over and we had a blast!
To see pictures of our trip along with our daily journal entries (those that are complete), go to "Photos & Trip Journal".
To watch videos shot from the front of the bike, view our "Complete Video Library."
Please keep in mind that these pages are still in the works. With so many pictures, journal entries and large video files, this will take some time. -- Thanks.

Trip Summary Ten day road trip from Texas through New Mexico, Arizona, California, Nevada, Utah and Colorado for an estimated 4,800 miles.
Daily Points of Interest Day One: Texas, Texas, Texas and New Mexico. Other than the a bit of the Texas hill country, watching the Davis Mountains pass by in the distance, most of this day is Texas highway and some of New Mexico. Day Two: Crossing over into Arizona to ride the Coronado Trail Scenic Byway. Day Three: Heat, mountains and desert followed by the cool breeze of a short ride along the Pacific Highway. Day Four: Pacific Ocean and Yosemite National Park. Day Five: Yosemite National Park. Day Six: Yosemite, America's Loneliest Highway and my favorite state for riding, Utah. Day Seven: Capital Reef National Park, Arches National Park. Utah and into Colorado. Day Eight: Mountains of Colorado to include Pike's Peak. Day Nine: Colorado, New Mexico and back into Texas. Day Ten: Final day of riding. Texas
Once we are on the road, it is our intent to upload some of the pictures for that day along with a few notes added to our daily journal. Once again, that is our intent, but for those that do cross country rides, you understand how it is. You ride as late into the day as you can, eat dinner, review the next day's ride, clean up and sleep. The next day, with the anticipation of the ride, you are up and ready to ride well before schedule with nothing more on your mind than... 'the ride.'
With this all said, depending on where we are, the time in hand and the anticipation of the ride, we might or might not upload any pictures for that particular day. |
