Day Two – Coronado
Trail
From Lordsburg, New Mexico to Flagstaff, Arizona
Summary:
It is this day that the ride starts to take on a new curve.
With day one being a straight shot down Interstate 10; with day two, we turn north out of Lordsburg, on Hwy-70, into Arizona. Once into Arizona and with New Mexico behind us, we continue north to Duncan, Arizona. Here we will be picking up SH-75 toward Three Way, Arizona where we pick up Hwy-191 north to the Coronado Trail Scenic Byway.
The Coronado Trail Scenic
Byway is a beautiful drive through the Apache-Sitgreaves National Forest.
A scenic trail that runs for just over 120 miles and includes over
400 switchbacks and hair-pin turns.

Let the FUN begin !!!
Turns that lead us climbing mountains and descending the other side for over a hundred miles.
Along the way we will be stopping to view and walk a few old ghost towns and stopping at numerous road side over looks to admire the towering cliffs and rolling mountains. "That and let Lisa relax for a bit before we jump back on the bike for a few more curves".
