Day One – Screaming Across Texas
From Katy, Texas to Lordsburg, New Mexico
Summary:
This first day will not be much other than us screaming across Texas. Going east on I-10 through El Paso and all the way to Lordsburg, New Mexico.
There in Lordsburg will be our first nights stay in a local hotel. This day’s journey will be around 885 miles.
Our plan is to head out of Katy around 5:00am and hit the road. The only stops that we are intending to make are those for gas, food and to stretch the legs and catch our breath.
