Big Bend 2009

Planned Trip Summary
Big Bend 2009 is planed to be a little over a three day ride from Katy to Big Bend National Park with a full day there.
The agenda is to leave out of town after work on Friday evening and run just southwest of San Antonio for the first night stay at a local hotel in Castroville.
Day two will take us from there into Big Bend to pay our entrance fee, grab a map and information along with an early dinner and then to Ten Bit Ranch for the night.
Ten Bit Ranch is where we are so far planning on staying but with us still in the early part of our planning, this might change. There are a few other places to stay out side the park that we are still looking at. This mainly because the stays inside the park are all booked for that Saturday evening.
Day Three will consist of riding through Big Bend and taking in all that we can manage from the park and the local towns before calling it a day and start our prep for the final ride home.
Day four being our final day for this ride, we will be heading out early for a long 629 mile ride back to Katy.
