On the front side, filler, sanding, a bit more filler just to make sure and ready for priming.

After about 20 hours of sanding out the primer by hand, the bed sides were sealed and shot with two coats of base color and two coats of clear.

Here is the old hole now part of the new bed side.

After the clear coat set for a day, it was sanded out with 1500 and 2000 grit sand paper and then polished.

New bed side sporting its new 'old hole'.
