After pulling the front inner
fenders back out of storage, they were sanded down and prepped for a coat of
filler primer. From there they were sanded again and then washed off. Here in this photo and the next, after the water was wiped off and the fender dried, I went over them carefully marking any areas that still needed some sanding. |

| After the final sanding had taken place, they were once again cleaned and then sprayed with a sealer followed by a black base coat and then two clear coats. | ||
| After letting the inner fenders cure for a few days, started applying the foam padding that I picked up as an inner fender kit. The kit came with a roll of foam padding, nasty staples and some felt padding. | ||
| From the roll of foam padding, that
came with the inner fender kit, the inner fender seal plate that secures to
the cab was wrapped. Instead of using the staples (as originally done) I elected to us a weather stripping adhesive to secure the foam padding. |

| At the corners where the foam padding would bunch up, I removed some so that it would lay flat. | ||
| Along with the foam padding from the kit came felt pads that were die cut. The felt padding for me would not work well enough so I used them as a pattern and cut out my own padding out of neoprene rubber. | ||
| Here is the new pad secured in place on the back side of the inner fender using weather strip adhesive. | ||
