| Final sanding now complete and the primer has a bit of shine to it. | ||
| After one coat of self etching primer and two coats of sandable primer the cab is now ready for a primer sealer. | ||
| After the first coat of sandable primer, the cab was wet sanded with 220 grit paper. Followed by another coat of primer and sanded with 220 grit followed by a soft 320 grit paper. | ||

Originally I said I was going to do the final sand
with 500 grit but after further thought, I decided to go with 320 grit. This would allow me to hit the spots that I didn't get good enough the first time and with the same sheet, lighten up my touch and polish it out. That and I already had plenty of 320 grit sheets at hand and it would save me a trip to the store. |
