With the two lead joints done it is time to move on to the dash while I am still waiting on the driver side floor board panel to come in (still on back order).

After chemically stripping the paint and blasting the dash a few weeks ago, I sanded the dash down and now have it ready to prime.

At the same time I will be priming both lead joints.

The upper cowling, in place and ready to prime

To get the cowling ready to prime, I did scuff up the e-coating a bit in order to give the primer a little more to grab onto.

The dash again from the other side of the truck.

After the dash, two lead joints and cowling are primed, I am going to move on to cleaning up all the areas that I have already stripped and blasted.  With all the time I have taken replacing panels, the other parts of the cab are starting to show flash rust. All my hand prints on the bear metal are starting to make their presents known.

After priming the upper cowling.
