After cutting away a good bit of the metal... Located the spot welds to be ground down. | |

With grinding away the spot welds, I can pull the rest of the cowl metal away with out deforming the remaining metal. | |

Using a small 4" grinder, the spot welds have be ground down... More grinding will have to be done on a point by point bases. | |

Using a body knife, the remaining metal is pulled away. | |

With a small torch, melted away at the lead joints to expose the overlapping joints. | |
